Community Exclusivity

 

ShaadiMitra is a niche community platform designed primarily for individuals of Gujarati descent or those seeking a Gujarati partner. We reserve the right to deny or terminate access to individuals who do not meet this community criterion, consistent with applicable freedom-of-association laws.

 

 

Geographic Restrictions

 

Access to the App may not be lawful by certain persons or in certain countries. If you access the App from outside the United States or India, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for complying with local laws.

 

 

2. MANDATORY ILLINOIS DISCLOSURES (815 ILCS 518)

 

If you reside in Illinois, the following disclosures are required:

ShaadiMitra does not conduct criminal background screenings or sex offender registry checks. Please take appropriate safety precautions.

• Identity Theft: Anyone able to commit identity theft can falsify a dating profile.

• Stranger Danger: Always exercise caution when communicating with anyone online.

• Protect Your Information: Do not share your last name, email address, home address, phone number, workplace, or other identifying details in early conversations.

• Stop Communication: Stop communication with anyone who pressures you for personal or financial information.

• Meeting Offline: If you meet someone in person, tell a friend or family member where you’re going and meet in a public place.

 

 

3. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES (SCAM PREVENTION)

 

We maintain a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for financial fraud, scams, or abusive behavior.

 

You agree NOT to:

 

 

Solicit Money

 

Request money, cryptocurrency, financial assistance, or payments for any reason (e.g., emergencies, travel, investments).

 

 

Promote Investments

 

Discuss, promote, or solicit participation in cryptocurrency schemes, forex trading, stock tips, financial opportunities, or multi-level marketing (MLM).

 

 

Harass or Abuse

 

Engage in stalking, bullying, hate speech, threats, or intimidation.

 

VIOLATION OF THIS SECTION WILL RESULT IN PERMANENT ACCOUNT TERMINATION WITHOUT WARNING.

 

 

4. AI PHOTO MODERATION & PRIVACY

 

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

 

 

4.1. No Biometric Identification

 

ShaadiMitra does not use or collect biometric identifiers (such as face geometry or facial recognition). We do not perform identity matching or determine whether two photos show the same person.

 

 

4.2. AI-Based Content Moderation

 

We use automated tools, including AI, solely to:

 

• Determine whether uploaded images appear to show a real human.

• Ensure photos are front-facing, single-person, and appropriate for a matrimony profile.

• Detect inappropriate, harmful, suspicious, or obviously manipulated content.

 

By using the App, you acknowledge and consent to these content moderation and safety checks, which help maintain a secure community environment.

5. DISCLAIMERS & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

 

 

5.1. “AS IS” Service

 

The App is provided on an “AS-IS” and “AS-AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind.

 

 

5.2. No Guarantee of Match

 

We do not guarantee that you will find a partner or that any match will result in marriage.

 

 

5.3. User Conduct

 

We are not responsible for the actions, behavior, statements, or conduct of any user on or off the App. You agree to use caution in all interactions.

 

 

5.4. Financial Loss Disclaimer

 

SHAADIMITRA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES resulting from:

 

• Financial scams

• Cryptocurrency fraud

• “Pig butchering” schemes

• Fake investment opportunities

• Any money you voluntarily send to other users

 

You engage financially with strangers entirely at your own risk.

 

 

6. PAYMENT, REFUNDS & CANCELLATION

 

 

Non-Refundable Policy

 

All purchases made through the App are generally non-refundable.

 

 

Illinois 3-Day Right to Cancel (815 ILCS 615)

 

If you reside in Illinois and purchase a subscription, you have the right to cancel it within three (3) business days after the first business day following purchase.

 

To cancel, you must send a written notice via email to the contact listed below.

 

 

7. DISPUTE RESOLUTION: ARBITRATION & CLASS ACTION WAIVER

 

PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.

 

 

Binding Arbitration

 

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through final and binding arbitration, not court litigation.

 

 

Class Action Waiver

 

YOU AGREE TO BRING CLAIMS ONLY IN YOUR INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY.

You and DTECH GLOBAL LLC waive the right to participate in any class, collective, or representative action.

 

This includes all claims related to privacy or data protection.

 

 

8. ACCOUNT TERMINATION

 

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion for reasons including, but not limited to:

 

• Misrepresentation or false information

• Fraud or suspicious activity

• Harassment or abusive conduct

• Violating these Terms or community guidelines

• Inactivity for an extended period

 

We may block associated phone numbers or devices to prevent re-registration.
